Hello Subscriber First Name,

I hope you survived the cold and snowy snap we had and have been able to enjoy some of this beautifully warm weather instead. They say that Phil the groundhog saw his shadow, so extra winter? But they also say he is only right 39% of the time. Maybe this is one of his off years?

The snow at the property made things incredibly pretty, with so many animal tracks being visible. Lots of rabbits, dear, and something else big (see the picture below). I was grateful for 4-wheel drive for getting around since our dirt path that we call a driveway didn't get plowed 🥶.

Our next big ministry step is deciding on a builder and type of construction for our first structure. Having a building is the last component we are missing before we can start taking applications for young men to participate in Living Stones Lodge. As soon as I can I will be sharing with you the specific plans and cost for the building.

Exploring the North End of the Property

On a snowy Saturday morning I set out with my friend Trent to explore the north 40 acres of woods and find the northwest and northeast property corners. We had a great time and were successful in locating the boundaries. Here are some pictures of our adventure, plus the large animal print we found. What do you think it is? Some have suggested mountain lion or black bear (there have been confirmed sightings not far from here).

Electricity and Septic for the Tiny Home

I am VERY happy to announce that we now have electricity and septic for the tiny home! Having electricity allows us to have the heat on, which allows us to connect the water (since the pipes won't freeze now). Having water and a septic system allows us to have a real flushing toilet, which we are grateful for. Got our fiber internet connected this week also, so we are getting closer for it to be ready to live in!

Prayer Requests

For God to provide the funding needed for Living Stones Lodge, both for building the initial structure and for the ongoing operating costs. Regular monthly donors are crucial for helping keep Living Stones Lodge tuition free for the participants.
For the young men, 18 to 25 years old, that will be a part of Living Stones Lodge in the future, that God would be preparing them even now for the work He will do in them through this 8-month long close-proximity discipleship process.
